The gal behind the camera, yeah, that's me! I'm Megan Licking and I am super happy that you are here! I am married to a rancher and we have two beautiful, adventurous children. The sandhills is where I call home and live in a place surrounded by them and absolutely no cellphone service. I crave creativity and photography allows me express that in so many ways. I love meeting people and I'll admit, I tend to be a nervous person at first. Always have been! It doesn't take long though to become people-y! I hope that you and I can create something fantastic for you !
Story Behind Flash Photography
It's important to me that people know why I chose Flash Photography because it isn't the flash on the camera. Meet Flash. He is an Akita-Pitbull Border Collie, easy going, most relaxed and loving dog. He got his name because on his back there was a lightning bolt. Now, it's more of a blob! Ha! Our border collie had a surprised litter of 11 pups. Two of those dogs, I fell in love with! Flash, the minute I saw him and his sister, Odd Ball, after several attempts to rehome her. She was meant to be ours. Flash went everywhere on the ranch with me and I missed him when I would leave. He has such a calming attitude that I would turn to when I needed it. He lets my two kids crawl and bounce all over him without even opening his eyes. This dog means the world to me and so when my husband and I were talking names for my business years ago, guess who was right there? Flash. Like he always is. And that is how Flash Photography got its name!

Megan photographed our wedding, and did the most beautiful job! I could not ask for a more fun, supportive and wonderful photographer! Her photos not edited looked like Pinterest photos. Her edited photos, are to die for! She is truly gifted!!
Update: Megan is the sweetest and best. For our wedding photos, she gave us a custom Flash Drive. Our photos have so much emotion and story to them!!
